For verification purposes, the same web address should then be entered manually with “https://.” If no SSL certificate is available, an error message will appear stating that the page cannot be opened. If the call with “https” is possible but disappears after every entry in the browser, then it is only a corresponding setting, which the site operator has made in the backend.
